Hi, I am Debbie Googeg known to my grandchildren as Titaw pronounced (Tee T/aʊ/). That last vowel sound in the second syllable is ow like you would hear in the word cow. My husband is from Yap Island and we decided to retain some Yapese heritage by keeping the word for Grandma. I homeschoooled all 8 of my children over the last 28 years. What I wanted most was a cup of coffee with an older mom who had some insight on homeschooling. I have become the older mom.
